Slowly Making Progress
We are determined to get our kids skiing. But, it is such a painfully slow process. We were starting to lose hope that our kids would ever be able to cruise down the mountain with us. So, we forced ourselves to take them on the mountain again. Once a year probably isn't enough to learn something. But between driving all the way, getting all the gear packed up, renting skis, the expenses, and entertaining our super-busy boy, it is no walk in the park. So, I am happy to report that we made progress this ski trip! The talented ski instructor was our Travis and he worked hard all day. By the end of the day, Hadley was having fun skiing down the bunny hill little-by-little to Travis and Makenna was cruising down the easy runs with Travis. VICTORY! It was so rewarding seeing our kids learning to ski. It was worth Travis' hard work and my exhausting day chasing Camden in the lodge and trying to keep him entertained, without a single nap. We were so worn out by the end of the day.
