Hadley's Baptism Day

Our sweet Hadley finally got her day. She has been so excited to get baptized. She watches and looks up to her big sister, Makenna. They are so close and seem close in age, but are actually 3 years apart. So Hadley has to wait three long years for her turn at things. She has been waiting for her day to dress in white and be baptized by her daddy.

She made the choice to be baptized with no hesitation and we were so proud of her decision. It was so sweet when she said to me, "Mom, getting baptized is one step closer to Macee." I love that our children have a close tie to heaven, which makes these spiritual decisions more personal. Hadley was definitely ready for her big day. And it went perfectly. I'm so grateful for her daddy for being able to baptize her. She was the only baptism for that day, so we really got to focus on her and her choice. We were grateful to those family and friends that came to support Miss Hadley and make her day so special. And man, did she look beautiful and grown up!

The Luncheon

 Hadley was in heaven with the food: peppers, guacamole, watermelon, frog eye salad, vegetable, sandwiches, creme soda!
