We upheld our favorite tradition of our slumber party in front of the tree on the 23rd. We always watch the Polar Express and we added Elf to it too this year. We eat caramel corn and just cuddle up with Christmas lights as our only light.
The only problem this year was that Travis and I came down with the flu that day. I had a fever that broke just in time for our party and Travis' fever hit at that same time. It is so hard to function and act excited with a high fever. But we pushed on for our kids who were afraid we weren't going to be able to have Christmas.
