Gingerbread & Pumpkins

My sister thought it would be a great idea to give my kids a haunted gingerbread house. But she left it up to us to put it together. What a nightmare. Good thing it was a haunted gingerbread house, so the dilapidated, about-to-fall-down look worked. Turns out we aren't very good at making gingerbread houses. I thought Travis was going to toss it across the room. We had some good laughs and the kids thought it looked awesome. Two words wrapped up our family activity: NAILED IT.

And then, it was PUMPKIN TIME! Nothing says Halloween like carving pumpkins.
