Sewing Project

The kids wanted to do a sewing project during harvest break. We decided on pillowcases. I found a tutorial on these easy burrito pillowcases. I took the kids to the fabric store where they each picked the fabric they wanted. Then we got to work sewing. They each had to pin, iron, and sew their own pillowcase. I hope to teach my kids the basics of sewing because it is such a useful skill. And I have to say, the pillowcases turned out so cute! They love sleeping on them.
